Why I Became a Certified Spiritual Coach

 Hey friend,

If you’re reading this, it’s not by accident. I truly believe God places the right people in our path at the right time. I want to take a moment to share with you why I chose to become a certified spiritual and master life coach, and how my greatest challenges have become my greatest gifts.

I was born with facial paralysis and diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just one year old. Later in life, I lost my eyesight completely and became bedbound. Life hasn’t been easy, and I won’t pretend that it has. But every tear, every moment of pain, every feeling of rejection, fear, anxiety, or isolation, it all became sacred ground for transformation.

What once felt like a burden has become a blessing. You see, I surrendered my disabilities to God. I cried out, questioned, and wrestled with my purpose. And in that place of surrender, I found clarity, strength, and peace. It’s in surrender that I discovered how to use my pain for purpose.

God didn’t remove my challenges, but He gave me a new lens, an inner one, to see through. He filled me with empathy, compassion, and a deep love for others who are hurting. Because I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to wonder if you belong. I understand the pain of being judged or misunderstood. That’s why when you sit with me, you’re not getting someone who’s going to throw clichés at you. You’re getting someone who walks beside you, not ahead of you. There’s no guilt, no shame, and no condemnation here—only love, support, and truth.

One of my favorite scriptures is Romans 5:3-4:

“We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

That verse speaks directly to my journey. My suffering produced perseverance. My perseverance shaped my character. And now, I get to offer hope.

Another verse that has carried me through is Proverbs 3:5-6:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

I didn’t understand my path at first, but when I submitted to God, He revealed a beautiful calling, one where I get to walk alongside others and remind them of their worth, their power, and their divine identity.

So why did I become a life coach? Because I believe in healing. I believe in transformation. And I believe that no matter what your story looks like, God isn’t done with you yet.

If you’re someone who feels stuck, rejected, anxious, or unsure of your path, I want to invite you to connect with me. Let’s walk this journey together. You don’t have to do it alone.
